Zverev’s Form Continues on a Downward Spiral

German tennis player Alexander Zverev got eliminated from the ATP tournament in Rotterdam. In the round of sixteen, he lost to Dutch player Tallon Griekspoor, who is currently ranked 61st on the ATP rankings, in three sets.

Griekspoor managed to come back after being down after the first set and won 4:6, 6:3, and 6:4. Zverev won the first set after he converted the break point in the seventh game. The second set was also decided after a single break in favor of Tallon.

Zverev had three break points in the fourth game of the deciding set, but he failed to convert them, which ultimately led to another loss, which prolonged a downward spiral of his form.
