Scottish tennis player Andy Murray decided to withdraw from the ATP tournament in Dubai after he reaggravated his injury.
“Andy has problems with his hip again, so he had to withdraw,” was an official statement from the tournament organizers.
Murray played the finals in Doha on Saturday against Daniil Medvedev, which he lost in straight sets, but this was not the reason for the reaggravation of the injury. He, in fact, traveled from Qatar, and this morning, a few hours after breakfast, the news of his withdrawal came out.
Andy is the only tennis player in the history of the sport with two gold Olympic medals, and he currently plays with an artificial hip.
