Alcaraz Effortlessly to the Quarterfinals

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz advanced to the quarterfinals at Masters in Paris. He managed to defeat Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in two sets – 6:1 6:3, after only an hour and thirteen minutes of play.

At the very start of the game, the world’s number one made a huge advantage by winning two break points which gave him a 4:0 lead. A similar trend continued in the next set, which was slightly more competitive, but Dimitrov did not stand a chance.

Alcaraz advanced to the quarterfinals, and there, he will meet the winner of the match between Holger Rune and Andrey Rublev. American tennis player Frances Tiafoe also managed to advance to the round of eight best players after he defeated Australian player Alex de Minaur.
