World number one Novak Djokovic has continued his winning streak with a commanding performance at the Dubai Championships. The Serbian superstar secured a convincing 6-2, 6-3 win over Tallon Griekspoor to extend his unbeaten run this season to an impressive 19 matches.
Djokovic‘s dominance on the court was on full display as he broke his opponent four times to ease into the quarter-finals.
His recent success comes on the back of his record-equalling 22nd Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open. After taking some time off to recover from a hamstring injury sustained during the tournament, the five-time Dubai champion has returned to the court with renewed energy and focus.
With his eyes set on yet another trophy, Djokovic will now face either Hubert Hurkacz or qualifier Pavel Kotov for a spot in the semi-finals.
