Krejcikova Stuns Swiatek in Dubai

Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova managed to upset world number one at the WTA tournament in Dubai. She stunned Iga Swiatek in the finals match and won the title.

What came as a surprise was the convincing manner in which Barbora did it, as she won in straight sets, 6:4 and 6:2. Swiatek barely lost a couple of games on her road to the finals, and she previously won the tournament in Doha, but now, she didn’t manage to take a single set from Krejcikova.

Barbora was down against Sabalenka in the quarterfinals but managed to come back, just to beat Jessica Pegula in the semis. Now, it only took her 92 minutes to beat the number one on the WTA rankings.
