Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev advanced to the Quarterfinals at Adelaide International after he defeated Serbian player Miomir Kecmanovic in straight sets – 6:0 and 6:3. The match was only 68 minutes long.
In the first set, Medvedev attacked mercilessly and did not allow Kecmanovic a single game. Kecmanovic had only one break point, and that was while the result was 5:0. The second set brought similar results, and Medvedev advanced to the next stage of the tournament.
In the quarterfinals, Medvedev will meet fellow Russian Karen Khachanov, who bested British player Jack Draper in straight sets as well, 6:4 and 6:2.
