nadal's coach departs from the team

There were some recent changes in Rafael Nadal’s coaching staff. Spanish tennis player announced that he would no longer work with Francisco Roig, who worked with Rafa for 18 years.

“I want to inform you that Francisco Roig is leaving the team and starting his new personal project as a coach,” Nadal wrote on Instagram.

“He spent 18 seasons with me. At the start, he worked with my uncle Toni, later with Carlos Moya, and recently with Marco Lopez. Francisco was an important person in my career, and I’m very grateful for all my years of friendship and work with him,” he said.
