With this win, Norrie is now aiming for his second title of the year after claiming his fifth ATP Tour title in Rio Open last week.
Norrie’s impressive start to 2024 has been the result of consistent form and tactical nous on the court. Last week, he proved too good for world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the Rio Open, defeating the reigning champion 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 to claim his first title of the year.
This followed a successful 2022 campaign, during which Norrie won two titles in Los Cabos and Indian Wells, and earlier this year, he added to his tally with a win in Lyon and Delray Beach. With his current form, Norrie is proving to be a formidable opponent and one to watch in the ATP Tour.
