The prize pool for the upcoming Australian Open will be $76.5 million, which is 3.4 percent more than it was in 2024. The prize pool has been increased for each passing round, meaning that the participants in the first round will get $26.000 each.
Participation in the second round will be awarded $158.850, semifinalists get $925.000, finalists get $1.625.000, and the champion will be awarded a whopping $2.975.000.
“In order to continue our success, it is crucial to provide strong and relevant opportunities for playing and to make sure that the best players in the world get the adequate prize. They inspire us to stay in this business, and they inspire future generations as well,” Craig Tiley, the director of the Australian Open, stated.
