Ruud Beats Nadal in the Exhibition Game

Although tennis season for 2024 is officially over, Casper Ruud did not manage to get some rest after the Masters in Turin. Instead, he went to South America and accepted to be one of Rafael Nadal’s guests at several exhibition games.

He has spent seven days in South America recently and so far has visited Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and is currently in Ecuador. At the exhibition game in the Ecuador capital, Ruud managed to defeat Spaniard in two sets – 6:4, 6:4.

He played a fantastic season this year and was in four finals: Masters in Miami, Roland Garros, US Open, and ATP Finals in Turin. Although he did not win in any of these finals, he was highly competitive against opponents that are currently at the very top of the ATP list: Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, and Rafael Nadal.
