Sabalenka and Garcia Will Fight for the Title

Aryna Sabalenka and Caroline Garcia will fight for the title at the WTA finals in Fort Worth, Texas. Both Iga Swiatek and Maria Sakkari, who had 3-0 scores in the group phase, got eliminated.

For the first time in the season, Sabalanka managed to defeat Iga Swiatek – 6:2, 2:6, 6:1. This ended one of the best tennis seasons in the 21st century by a young Polish player. She ended the season with a record 67-9 which goes along with the eight titles she won this year.

On the other hand, Caroline Garcia defeated Sakkari in two sets – 6:2 and 6:3. This was yet another important victory for the French player, and all of this happened in a week in which she parted ways with her coach.
