Sabalenka Reaches Her First Grand Slam Finals

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka will get a chance to fight for her first-ever grand slam title at the Australian Open. She earned that right by beating Magda Linette in straight sets – 7:6 and 6:2.

This was her tenth consecutive win this year, and so far, she didn’t forfeit a single set, which speaks volumes about the shape she is currently in, and the sheer level of determination and willpower she has displayed.

The first set was really close, and the winner had to be decided in a tiebreak. However, Sabalenka got loose in the second set, and she dominantly finished the game.
