A Great Comeback From Sabalenka Leads to Her First Grand Slam Title

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka became the Women’s Australian Open champion in singles competition after she defeated Elena Rybakina in three sets – 4:6, 6:3, and 6:4.

It took her an hour and twenty-nine minutes to reach her first career grand slam title. Despite the fact that Sabalenka was the favorite in this game, Rybakina opened up the match with the win in the first set after she converted a breakpoint in the third game.

However, Sabalenka managed to rally and come back from this. After initial problems, she shifted gears and tied the game at 1:1 in the sets. The final set brought a lot of great tennis, and the Belarus player came on top when it was all said and done.
