Swiatek Goes 3 of 3

In the last match of the group phase of the WTA finals, Iga Swiatek recorded her third win out of three games, while Goff suffered her third defeat.

First-seeded tennis player on the WTA list effortlessly defeated the American tennis player while conceding only three games throughout the whole match. The final score was 2-0 (6:3, 6:0 in sets), and the duel was only 70 minutes long.

Goff played very aggressively and had opportunities for two break points, but it was all she could do in this match, as Iga Swiatek posed her will and dominance through the rest of the match. Caroline Garcia, Maria Sakkari, and Arina Sabalenka also advanced to the final stage of the tournament.
