The First Title of the Year for Sinner Comes in Montpellier

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner won the first title of the year in Montpellier after beating Maxime Cressy in straight sets – 7:6 and 6:3.

Currently ranked number 17 on the ATP list won his first title of the season and seventh of his career after an hour and thirty-five minutes of play.

The first set was highly competitive, and each player held his serve until the tiebreak, while the deciding break point in the second set happened in the eighth game.

This was Cressy’s fourth finals match, but he was not able to push through and win the second trophy of his career. Sinner will play at the tournament in Rotterdam next week, and he will move up to the 14th place on the ATP rankings.
