Tsitsipas Parts Ways With Mouratoglou

Tsitsipas parts ways with Mouratoglou

Stefanos Tsitsipas, the world No. 3 and recent Australian Open finalist, and Patrick Mouratoglou, a renowned tennis coach, have decided to go their separate ways.

The split comes just after Tsitsipas’ successful run at the 2024 Australian Open, where he reached the second Grand Slam final of his career. According to Sportsfeed, the two won’t be working together anymore, as the Greek should be coached solely by his father Apostolos and Mark Philippoussis.

Mouratoglou, who is best known for coaching Serena Williams but also coached the likes of Simona Halep, Holger Rune, and many more, was not Tsitsipas‘ head coach but was a regular presence in his coaching unit.

The Greek star regularly trained at Mouratoglou’s academy in Nice, France, as part of their agreement. This arrangement allowed Mouratoglou and his academy to use world no. 3 to promote their training facilities.
